Vitamin C, winter is here!

Everyone makes them, most don’t keep them. Yet year on year millions of us set out at the start of the year vowing to make a number of changes to our health. Part of the reason so many fail is the resolutions they set are the wrong ones.
Being conscious of our lifestyle choices and learning about the brain’s relationship to the rest of the body can help reclaim responsibility for the actions we take, and improve brain performance, health, and longevity.
For people all over the world, lack of sleep, reduced physical activity, poor nutrition and other factors have led to an increase in deteriorating health, notably brain health. Our brains remain the most complex organ in our bodies, controlling our senses, movement, thoughts, emotions and other endless functions. We need to start focusing on our brain’s fitness to maximize our health and well-being.
In this series of blog posts we will look at the link between gut health and brain health, and how we can adjust our nutrition to improve both. We’ll explore how intermittent fasting can improve insulin sensitivity and improve memory, as well as exploring the mental benefits of exercise and meditation.
